Sinopsis: Inglaterra ha quedado sin monarca. Al mismo tiempo aparece en una iglesia una antigua espada clavada en una piedra con la siguiente leyenda: “Quien arranque esta espada de la piedra será el legítimo Rey de Inglaterra”. El mago Merlín, seguro de que el muchacho capaz de obtener esta espada es un joven llamado Wart, se ofrece a darle sorprendentes lecciones sobre la vida.
