Interesante ambientación para ésta producción germana que goza de una cuidada fotografía y vestuarios, las interpretaciones son aceptables pero sin brillo y cuenta con un siempre eficaz pero aquí bastante desaprovechado Christopher Lee pues salvo en la parte final aparece muy poco. Un final por cierto correcto pero quizá demasiado abrupto.Una adaptación libre de un realato de Edgar Allan Poe que gustará a los amantes del terror gótico y más clásico,yo quizá esperaba algo más si bien cumple más que sobradamente y se lleva un merecido 7.
