DESCRIPTION: Scientifically known as Crocodylus porosus, saltwater crocodiles mostly inhabit swamps in Southeast Asia and are among the largest reptiles on the planet (as well as one of the most dangerous and ancient). They exceed 5 meters in length and 500 kg in weight. They are born with a pale yellow color that turns dark green as they age. They are considered, along with Nile crocodiles, to be the aquatic reptiles most likely to attack humans.
