Sinopsis: Debido a los bajos índices de audiencia del canal de televisión True TV, a la directora de programación se le ocurre la idea de seguir con una cámara a un ciudadano cualquiera las veinticuatro horas del día. El elegido es un joven sin futuro llamado Ed que vive con su familia en un barrio pobre de San Francisco. El éxito del programa es inmediato pero, con el paso del tiempo, el precio que Ed deberá pagar por la fama será demasiado alto.
