Sinopsis: Ally McBeal es una joven independiente pero insegura, inteligente pero neurótica, una romántica y soñadora abogada que por por puro azar empieza a trabajar en un bufete de abogados, donde también trabaja Billy, un ex-novio al que nunca olvidó. El problema es que Billy ya está casado, y, además, su esposa también trabaja en el despacho, un singular bufete donde todos comparten un baño unisex.
