ORIGIN: Born on Friday the 13th in 1946 with hydrocephalus, Jason moved at the age of 11 to Camp Crystal Lake (somewhere in New Jersey), where his single mother, Pamela Voorhess, worked as a cook. However, the other children constantly bullied him because of his deformity and mental disability until they threw him into the lake, where he drowned because he couldn't swim and the counselors were distracted having sex... but he "resurrected" a little over 20 years later to witness his mother's murder, becoming so filled with hatred that he vowed to kill anyone who dared approach Crystal Lake.
DESCRIPTION: A nearly bald human, 6'6" tall and weighing over 220 pounds, with an anomalous face and pale skin. His attire varies depending on the film he appears in. Starting with Part III, he wears his iconic hockey mask, while in Part II (and the first half of the remake) he covered his head with a pale cloth sack. By Part VI, he had begun to exhibit his supernatural nature, appearing as a zombie, although in Part 9 he was revealed more as a demon capable of changing bodies. He is a ruthless, mute, and seemingly immortal killer.

CONCLUSIÓN:
Una auténtica máquina de matar que se ganó a mucha honra un lugar en el Olimpo de figuras del cine de terror, aparte de contribuir en la moda de films slasher durante los años 80.
Su diseño en la 2ª parte fue pésimo y su versión ciborg en «Jason X» llegaba a dar risa, pero en la 9ª ya arruinaron todo su concepto. Menos mal que regresó de forma triunfante tanto en el remake de 2009 como el crossover con Freddy Krueger…
