Sinopsis: Joanna Stayton, una rica y presuntuosa heredera, contrata al carpintero Dean Proffitt porque necesita en su yate un armario para guardar su lujoso vestuario. Cuando Dean fracasa en su encargo, ella lo despide sin pagarle. Poco después, al caerse por la borda, Joanna recibe un golpe que le provoca amnesia. Enterado del hecho por la tele, Dean se inventa una historia para hacerse pasar por su marido.
