Sinopsis: Una nave espacial con 40 pasajeros, entre los cuales está un prisionero extremadamente peligroso llamado Riddick, sufre una avería provocada por una tormenta de meteoritos que la obligará a aterrizar en un planeta desierto donde residen extrañas y hostiles criaturas que salen cuando se hace la oscuridad.
