Sinopsis: Los padres de Daryl Cage se están separando, así que éste deja su granja en Iowa para vivir una temporada con su hermano mayor que reside en Los Angeles, en cuyo aeropuerto ambos recogen la maleta equivocada que meten en su furgoneta, sin saber que contiene un alijo de heroína. Los receptores de la droga caen pronto en la cuenta de la equivocación e inician bajo las órdenes de su jefe Roy Gaddis la búsqueda del vehículo y sus ocupantes para recuperarla cuanto antes. Daryl no esperaba que su aventura en la gran ciudad le ofrecería la oportunidad de ser perseguido por traficantes de estupefacientes y por la misma policía que le acusará de asesinatos que nunca ha cometido.
