Sinopsis: Amarga comedia que narra la historia de Rupert Pupkin, un cómico obsesionado con convertirse en el mejor en su campo. Un día Rupert conoce a su ídolo, Jerry Langford, y le suplica la oportunidad de aparecer en su show, pero éste se la niega. Sin embargo no cejará en su empeño, acechando a Jerry hasta que consiga lo que quiere. Finalmente y con la ayuda de su amiga Masha secuestrarán a Langford para poder conseguir sus propósitos.
