Sinopsis: Angela está infelizmente casada con el lugarteniente de la Mafia Frank De Marco. Cuando éste es asesinado, ella ve la oportunidad de romper con el mundo del hampa y comenzar una nueva vida. Pero Tony Russo, el jefe de Frank, empieza a cortejarla. Por otra parte, el FBI decide vigilarla, sospechando que es la nueva mujer del mafioso. El agente Mike Downey del FBI, que se hace pasar por un vecino de Angela, pronto comenzará a sentirse atraído por ella.
