ORIGIN: During the last Valentine's Day celebrated in the quiet town of Los Riscos, everyone had gathered at the "Union" Hall for the dance, except for seven miners who were left behind in the tunnels. The two foremen, eager to attend the festivities, failed to warn them that methane levels had risen, causing the mine to explode and bury five miners alive. After a six-week search, they found one survivor, Harry Warden, but the ordeal had traumatized him so much that he was committed to the Eastfield Asylum. A year later, he returns to the town, on Valentine's Day itself, to take revenge on the two foremen by ripping out their hearts and placing them in boxes of chocolates, threatening that Valentine's Day would never be celebrated again.
